Kooler hates the blower. She knows when G gets the blower out of the shed and immediate looks for places to hide... before he even turns it on. Sometimes he waits til we are out on walkie .. and sometimes I can mitigate these episodes by using the vacuum in the house at the same time. I have found her hiding under G's desk, in the master bedroom shower ...
Yesterday, G used the blower to clean up leaves and pine needles. She hid in the bathroom shower while I brush my teeth after lunch. I left her there and started cleaning. I checked on her a few minutes later and she was not there. I looked in the usual places and no Kooler. Hrmph. Then I found her .... comfortably curled up on my futon in my office. She was so comfortable that she was not going to get off the furniture. I did not want to yell at the sared-episode-gurl, so I ended up picking her up and putting her on her own pillow.
on 16th of December... G was diagnosis with kidney failure and we checked him into Swedish Hospital emergency room in Seattle around 10am in the morning. He stayed in intensive care for two days, and general / Nephrology for another two days. He came home on the 19th. He is on a special diet while he is on dialysis - low potassium, low phosphorous, no add'l salt, high protein, and various changes. He is going through the treatment process and will find out what's waiting on the other side.
At the same time, we have consecutive snow storms since about the 14th. I did not grow up around snow, and usually stay home in this weather. According to all the weather and news reports, this area has not seen snow like this. Needless to say, it has been quite frightful between G and this weather ...
The fuzzies woke me up this morning. They wanted to play in snow.. If it was up to Kooler, it would snow everyday :)
This is only a test. I am trying to see how difficult it is to put video on a blog. Click through to an embedded QT video.
It was a good puppy day - sunny & cold. It was gorgeous. After a time with the sticks, we talked Glen into having a walk with us at Lk Samm.
The weather report has been predicting snow for ..oh.. last week. We havent seen any where we live. We finally got our share. And it is a good day too..
Mel & Co spent an afternoon with us. She tried to dodge a kiss from Winter. :)
A conversation with puppies.
Winter, if you dont stop digging, youll be eating your food at an animal shelter for the rest of your days.
So cease now!

Very cute puppies ....
