Day 1- we arrived in early afternoon and did a little shopping around town. We had reservations at Thanh Long, one of the An Family resturant in Sunset. mmm.. Their food is fantastic. Will, Glen and I ... ordered and finished: 3 orders of garlic noodles, a roasted garlic crab, mussels, shrimp toast, clay pot pork, villagers favorite .. oh .. thats er.. before the banana cake.

On our way back.. I wasnt paying attention and took the wrong off ramp and ended up in Emeryville. So we stopped at the nearest coffee shop - Starbucks to cap off the evening. Normally, I wouldnt mention stopping at Starbucks... but.. I had a Chantino there. Day 2 - Connie & Raymond, Janet & Wilson, mom, G and I started the day with dim sum in Oakland Chinatown. Afterwards we drove to SBC park for the 1pm show of Corteo. After the show, mom shoo'ed us off ... we had a couple of hours of free time before 6:30pm dinner with everyone. We walked from SBC to the Ferry Building - where there is a Recchhuiuti Confections ... yeah. G grabbed some snacks, we stopped for Peets .. we left with er.. a handful .. of chocolate :). I discovered a chocolate book I dont have! It is Chocolate Obessions from Michael Reccuhiuti. His flavor combinations are divine ... hrmph.. a chocolate book I dont have! Gotta fix that.
