Dear Serta

Dear Serta,

I have thoroughly enjoyed your TV commercials to the extent that I visited your web site. Once there, I noticed that I could purchase my own counting sheep which I very quickly did. I checked the mail each day after my purchase with great anticipation of receiving my very own counting sheep, and after about a week they finally arrived (see pictures of #8 & #13). I had some mis-givings that they would get along with my 2 huskies, but so far over the last month, after some initial misbehavior(I'll cover this in greater detail farther down in this email), they have acclimated too well. (which is why I'm writing)

On arriving, the initial flurry, scampering and investigating by the counting sheep actually woke my huskies from their all day nap. Once the commotion settled down, exhausted, the counting sheep found a spot on my wifes' side of the bed to take a siesta.

To my dismay, over the next week my wife reported to me that the sheep had been waking her up at night, wanting her to count them.

I also noticed that my huskies were also acting more tired then usual even, though I thought they were napping all day and night. Suspicious now, I set up a web cam in the bedroom to observe what the sheep were up to.

Note: We crate our huskies during the day, so they don't throw outrageous parties while we are away. Like most teenagers, they have very little appreciation for the work we put in to pay for all their personalized services and toys.

On reviewing the webcam video, I noticed that as soon as my wife and I would leave for work that the sheep would get up and start poking at the puppies through the slats in their crates, which of course woke the puppies and agitated them (this was cutting into their 18 hours of napping). Thinking this over, I didn't actually think this was a bad thing, it might even make Winter (the brother husky) to tired to whine in the mornings, so I let it continue.

Of course, even counting sheep soon become bored or they observed too much of the puppies routine, and they began to nap...and nap...and nap.

So, essentially I'm writing to see if I may have received defective counting sheep or if there is something I can do the motivated the sheep to want to be counted again?

Very concerned and tired,

Glen

P.S. I was getting some very good sleep while all this was going on, and would like it to continue.
